Kate taught undergraduate students in the Department of Theatre, Film and Digital Production at her alma mater, UC Riverside, for seventeen years. She’s also taught graduate students at UC Riverside’s low-residency MFA program (playwriting) and National University (fiction). In addition, Kate has taught brain-friendly business writing to commercial real estate teams across the U.S.

She served as a respondent for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, bringing her to colleges across Southern California.
